Research in the Division of Cellular, Nutritional and Physiological Sciences encompasses diverse approaches to understanding normal cellular and physiological processes and how they are altered in disease. This includes the study of human nutrition, cardiac function, cancer, neuronal development and regeneration, neuroinflammation, synaptic signalling in the brain, vascular and ocular biology, stem cells and the identification of novel therapeutic approaches to treat a wide range of diseases from cancer to diabetes.
